On Monday, June 13th the city of Osaka with cooperation from IBPC, O-BIC, and JETRO, will host a seminar titled “Why Osaka? Osaka’s Role Right Now”. The three hour seminar will highlight Osaka’s role in helping to rebuild after the earthquake and tsunami, the current business climate in Osaka & Kansai, and ongoing plans for the near future. The event’s five speakers include Osaka Mayor Hiramatsu and various CEOs and business leaders based in Osaka. One expected topic will be the development boom now going on in Umeda, Osaka, and the investment and business opportunities available there.
